WHEB launches dynamic Impact calculator

We have been delighted with the reception for WHEB’s 2016 Impact report since publication last month.

In the report (available here) we have calculated the environmental impact associated with investing £1m in the fund during 2016 as follows:

  • 1,200 MWh of renewable energy was generated;
  • 1,600 tonnes of CO2e was avoided
  • 1.6m litres of waste water was treated;
  • 30m litres of drinking water was provided; and,
  • 140 tonnes of waste material was recycled or recovered.

Several clients have commented that they would like to be able to see the level of impact associated with their own holding, or to be able to calculate the same for their clients. As a result, we have developed an Impact Calculator, which is launched today on our website. The calculator allows the user to enter any amount invested in the FP WHEB Sustainability Fund in December 2016, and see the environmental impact associated with their savings.

We invite our clients to try the calculator, available on this link: WHEB Impact Calculator
